Dawn Crute
_{Writer, Director, Producer, Actor, Make up Artist.}

Dawn has been working in the entertainment business for 15+ years. She gained firsthand experience of film directing, writing and producing at the age of 14. Since then she has performed on stage in both the UK and Europe, as well as appearing in feature films. Over the course of the last few years she has appeared in short films and expanded her repertoire of skills to include SFX makeup and editing to further contribute to future projects.

Wayne Thompson

Wayne has been working as an actor and makeup effects artist for over 10 years. In that time he has appeared in TV shows, short and feature films. (Not to mention stunt riding, fight choreography, etc.) The last few years, has been primarily working on his own projects. Producing and directing are just additional feathers in his filmmakers cap. Further establishing his dedication and passion for film.

Henry Thompson

American ex-patriot and ex-Graphic artist/photographer; Henry has a deep run passion for all media. Movies, TV shows, games, music, he loves it all and wants to dabble in it all. Aside from executive producing everything Eze as Pi has made, writing and directing projects, as well as providing camera work and producing for others, he is also actively developing new scripts.

Glenn Ellis

Glenn has always had a passion for film, especially Horror and Science Fiction. His youngest daughter has the talent in-front of the camera and through her, doors have opened for him to be able to explore aspects of film making from behind the camera. His first opportunity was to be a still photographer on the set of short horror movie Birthday Girl, moving up to BTS and 2nd camera on a comedy series. He is looking forward to throwing himself into anything Dead Reel Films works on. Coming to the film industry late in the game means he has a steep learning curve, one he is more than willing to tackle!

Les M Brewster

Les has been involved in the acting industry for 10+ years now. He has a leading role in a North East scare attraction and he has played various roles at this event. He is developing a huge interest in the cinematic filming role and enjoys being behind the camera. He has also has roles in advertising shorts promoting certain scare events.

Paul Doherty

A lifelong fan of all things cinematic, Paul has a specific passion for the horror and thriller genres, making Dead Reel Films his perfect home. This passion has been channeled into the pursuit of film making over the past 10+ years with Paul writing, directing and editing many short films during this time, two of which have received worldwide distribution from Troma Entertainment (The Toxic Avenger/Class of Nuke ‘Em High) as part of their Grindsploitation series.

Chris Reed

A huge fan of the Horror and Sci-Fi genre, he has previously stage directed amateur fashion shows and more recently acted in regional Horror and Christmas events. Chris is also a Master of Ceremonies, where he comperes events and presents shows. Over the years, Chris has performed in his local choir and amateur theatre. He has a passion for acting and entertaining, bringing joy to others.

Sassi Hall

Sassi grew up with a passion for drama and dance. She loved being on stage. Sassi was a model from the age of 18, progressing to alternative modelling and music videos. As well as modelling, she studied make-up and received a level 2 diploma in hair and media make-up. These skills along with her love of horror made working for Dead Reel films an obvious choice

Phil Stockill

Phil’s first introduction into horror was when he was 9, sneaking downstairs to see the babysitter watching ‘John Carpenters Halloween’. The Image of Micheal Myers staring up at the window amongst the billowing sheets had him hooked – he now has an amassed a collection of over 200 horror films on DVD! A keen makeup artist since his teens – he loves applying makeup to his kids for Halloween! He also completed a casualty simulation course whilst in the Army and so has no issue with gore. Phil is keen to branch out and learn new skills and is excited to learn all things behind the camera.

Glenn Upsall

Glenn has been writing and producing for both stage and film since 2002. He is also writer of stories for fiction and non-fiction books and publications . In 2007, he was shortlisted for the Biscuit Publishing, Flash Fiction Competition, for his Short Story, ‘Business Or Pleasure’ and was runner-up in the Northern Film & Media’s Writers Bursary Scheme 2007, with his Feature Screenplay, ‘Fat Of The Land’. Glenn has also been commissioned to write 5 short and feature screenplays to date. Glenn has also appeared in small roles as an actor, but prefers life behind the camera and in front of the keyboard.

Glenn’s short film ‘Pins’ (2018) has won two awards at the New Forest Film Festival. They were Best  International Narrative Short and Best International Short.

Rose Woodhead

Rose is a self taught Special FX makeup artist who loves Horror films and make up.  She has also acted in small plays and has recently acted in a regional horror event in which she is also on the make up team and has done so for the past 6 years.  She has a passion for learning and loves nothing better than to immerse herself in the action.
